See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

First built in the late 19th century this stone built country pub has recently been rescued from closure by owner and landlady Alison Hudson. After being closed for a number of years, Alison bought the pub and invested heavily to bring a fresh, clean and tastefully modern twist to the village establishment. Now with a light and airy feel the Five Bells provides the perfect country stop for a pint of real ale, cup of coffee or a bite to eat. There is food for all tastes, from a lunch menu for light bites during the day, through to the full restaurant menu serving well executed traditional cuisine in to be enjoyed in the bar or in the separate restaurant area at the back of the pub.The pub is open to everyone and prides itself on offering a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with friendly, welcoming service. With two roaring open log fires the main bar provides the perfect place to share a drink with friends or to enjoy some peace and quiet with a coffee and a good book.Sister pub to Ye Olde Bertie Arms, Uffington.
